Her legs are flying so fast it just isn’t even fair. That’s the switch kick girl in this particular workout. There’s always one badass in every video that just makes you feel like you aren’t working hard enough, or just makes you feel like you suck at life.

This is the highest calorie burn thus far, and I love it!Īs A mentioned above, there are some great cast members to watch. My calorie burn today was 502 and that included ab attack. There’s absolutely no shame moving to the modifier! Believe me, you’ll still get a crazy good workout if you modify.

I feel you have to be smart about it and know your limitations so you don’t injure yourself. My upper body strength is weaker than my leg strength so I’m usually modifying those particular moves. I’m usually not modifying the moves until after I’ve maxed out, unless it’s upper body work. I count myself as maxed out if I end up breaking proper form or I just can’t physically do another move. I usually max out quickly in this workout. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to try each video out once before you start the program to really understand the moves. I find that the workouts do seem to become more manageable and a little less horrifying each time I do them. Today was my second time and it wasn’t as bad…still brutal but I didn’t feel like I was going to puke or die. The second and third sets are the worst, with all the different jumping moves. Yes, we get water breaks here unlike FF, but each set in Sweat Intervals is so intense with explosive, work your whole body moves, that you feel like it’s never going to end.

I think FF may be the hardest mental workout for me, but this workout is by far the most challenging in respect to intensity and the series of moves. Guys, I was complaining earlier that Friday Fight was the hardest workout. We’re halfway through week 2, guys! Let’s keep it up! (11:30) 2) That girl that does the switch kicks like a boss makes me feel like I suck at working out.” I maxed out 5 seconds later than last week. He sent me an email this morning that said this: “1) Sweat Intervals is by far the toughest workout. My husband agrees with me that this is the hardest workout. And you can tell Shaun T wasn’t expecting such a good answer! She says, “If I feel like I can’t do 1 more, I do 3 more.” It’s so stupid, but something as little as that can inspire you to get through the rest of your workout. She basically kills this workout today and Shaun T talks to her during one of the breaks and he asks her how she keeps going. There’s this tiny woman with curly dark hair who reminds me of Carla from Scrubs that is in several of the Insanity Max 30 workouts. I like to think that Scott knew how damn hard this workout was going to be so he begged Shaun to let him be the modifier for the day. He now has a strange shaved ‘do that makes him look JUST like Macklemore. We first met Scott back in the T25 videos. Shaun T’s husband Scott is the modifier in this workout. I would expect nothing less from Shernita. And she’s back in Sweat Intervals! She totally maxes out at like 6:03 or something…basically as soon as the real workout starts after the warm-up. She totally half-asses most of the workouts and just crumples at the end of them like she’s about to die. She was comic relief in Insanity because she always had this look on her face like Shaun T tricked her and told her that he was going to be filming some nice easy workout and then she showed up and it was Insanity instead.

She looks different now because she doesn’t have her braids but now has a shaved head. Shernita is back in this workout! If you’ve done Insanity, you would remember Shernita as the woman who, when Shaun T asks her how she’s feeling, she says “I wanna leave” and Shaun T basically forces her to take a break. Here were a few things that I forgot to point out last week: I think I said before that Sweat Intervals is the hardest workout, and it is seriously no joke. This morning was Sweat Intervals and Ab Attack (Ab Attack review coming soon).

#Insanity max 30 sweat intervals review update

So I will probably do these little update posts as I catch new things. I remember that during the very last week of Insanity I finally noticed some funny comment that Shaun T made that I had just completely missed all of the other times I had done the workout. It’s funny what different stuff you notice the more you do these workouts.
